Greensboro Men’s Club Scholars Program
The Greensboro Men’s Club Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, plans to award five $2,500.00 scholarships to deserving male high school students during the 2024-2025 academic year. These scholarships are intended as opportunity scholarships for designated high schools in Guilford County: Ben L. Smith, High Point Central, James B. Dudley, Northeast Guilford, and T. Wingate Andrews. A committee of the Greensboro Men’s Club will select scholarship awardees. Each high school must submit a minimum of two applicants to be eligible for the scholarship. Scholarships are renewable for one year upon evidence of a minimum 2.5 collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Complete applications are due on or before April 30, 2025.

Qualifications
Male high school student who shows great promise and who has overcome personal challenges in pursuit of his education
Has maintained a grade point average of at least 3.0 during high school
Plans to pursue a degree at a college, university, community college, or technical school
Has completed a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
Possesses a reputation of good character in his community and high school

Official high school transcript
FAFSA SAR (Student Aid Report) form, Including Expected Family Contribution (EFC)
Letter of recommendation from a teacher or school administrator
Letter of recommendation from a community member (must be non-relatives)
Deadline and Submission
All required documents, including the scholarship application, official high school transcript, two letters of recommendation, and FAFSA SAR (Student Aid Report) form, must be received on or before April 30, 2025. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated. Mail all application materials to:
