Greensboro Men’s Club Scholars Program 

The Greensboro Men’s Club Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, plans to award five $2,500 scholarships to deserving male high school students during the 2023–24 academic year. A committee of the Greensboro Men’s Club will select the awardees. Scholarships are renewable upon evidence of above average academic performance. Applications and all required documents must be received on or before this date.


Qualifications

  • Male high school student who shows great promise and who has overcome personal challenges in pursuit of their education 

  • Has maintained a grade point average of at least 3.0

  • Plans to pursue a degree at a college, university, or technical school 

  • Has completed a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

  • Awardees will plan and implement one community service project prior to receiving the award and will be a guest at one Greensboro Men’s Club meeting  


Required Documents 

  • Scholarship application

  • Official high school transcript 

  • FAFSA SAR (Student Aid Report) form; Including Expected Family Contribution (EFC)

  • Letter of recommendation from a teacher or school administrator

  • Letter of recommendation from a community member (must be non-relatives)


Deadline and Submission 

All required documents including the scholarship application, official high school transcript, two letters of recommendation, and FAFSA SAR (Student Aid Report) form must be received on or before April 30, 2023. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated. Mail all application materials to:
